The Driver Group is focused on the development of new catalytic methods to transform simple, readily available substrates into functionalized molecules.
Our current interests:
• Transition metal-catalyzed reactions involving anilines, nitroarenes and N-tosylhydrazones
• Synthesis of high energy dynamic materials from azides
• Translational projects: synthesis of bioactive N-heterocyclic chemical probes
